Hi:

Thank you so much for the work you've done making and supporting this plug-in. I'm looking forward to making use of it for my upcoming mix project. Unfortunately, Mcafee LiveSafe flags it as having a virus and quarantines it so I'm unable to download it.

McAfee detection ti!08b5b6965ecd

Thank you for your attention to this

Hello Paul,

I have submitted request to McAfee, but I don't track all these "false positives". There are tens of engines in the internet, and at least 2-3 of them ALWAYS report ANY executable as a virus.
Unfortunately, there is still no regulation to protect developers from such misbehavior of "virus detection" companies.

You can add it as an exception, if you trust me (BTW, I am real human, with real name and real address... do you know someone from McAfee, to trust them more? :) )

In general, in the "detected" virus information, you normally can "deduct" by which method it was "detected". When you see something like "Gen" / "AI" and alike, that is "AI based", so "potentially" virus which is not known yet to make dedicated check. In all years I have not seen any real new virus/spy-wire which was detected such way (obviously, virus writers just check with online scanner that what they are going to spread is NOT detected, not many virus writers are so stupid not to do this  8) )
