Title: AZ Controller plugin tiny font on 4k display in Windows 11 - Cakewalk Sonar Free
Post by: mgr on July 23, 2025, 05:27:57 PM
I have tried to install AZ Controller under new Cakewalk Sonar Free edition, and on my 4k display the plugin window is very small and has tiny font size.
This did not happen in Windows 10 and Cakewalk by BandLab, so I am not sure if the problem is Windows 11 or Sonar.
Is there any way of increasing plugin window/font size?

EDIT:
I had to uncheck the "Enable DPI Awareness" checkbox in Properties/Customization/Display settings, now the AZ Controller window is of proper size.
So I guess there is some problem with the new DPI awareness feature of the new Sonar.

AZ Controller is not DPI aware. And I don't have 4k monitor. But may be I can reproduce on FHD monitor if I set the option...
Do you have the same problem with other plug-ins, like "ACT MIDI" and "Mackie"? If yes, you can contact Cakewalk.

ACT MIDI is the same size regardless of DPI awareness settings.
Not a big deal for me, my vision is far from 20/20 so I do not see a difference with or without DPI awareness,
and I am using a 42-inch screen.
