Title: Don't understand hardware states - any help?
Post by: educampi on June 29, 2019, 08:43:30 PM
Hello,
I went over the manual but I'm lost on changing states.

Basically, I have 8 knobs, and a button.
The button doesn't change the CC of the knobs, but it sends its own CC, so the idea would be to switch states whenever that CC is received.
I want those knobs to switch between pan and volume mode after I press the button.

1) How do I configure the switch between states?
2) How do I tell the plugin to start in one mode (like Volume) by default when I open the DAW?

Thanks!!

That is about "Software states" and "Execution conditions". You can read how that works in "ACT MIDI Explained", "Shift" button.

Thanks, I couldn't find that section in the manual but eventually found it in the forum:

Using Software states worked.

Thanks!
