Title: how to show selected track
Post by: MarKo on May 17, 2015, 09:45:36 AM
Hi Alexey,

ok, my preset for BCR is getting closer to finished.
I have built a "selected Track"-Mode, which selects and focuses the Track/bus and switches my BCR to ProChannel. This works very nice, i have the complete PC of all 8 visible tracks accessible with just 1 button.

Now i want to show the selected track by blinking mute-led.
i should know how to blink from your last example, but how to get/compare the selected track?
so i have a state "SelTrack", which i can show already with one button-led.
But now i want the corresponding mute-led of this selected track to blink in this state.
How would you do that?
I hope you can understand...

PS: is the global solo-state of Sonar accessible somewhere?

I forgot to answer, sorry.

For selected track, monitor "Current" Strip parameter. It's value will be 127 in case this strip is in focus.

"Rude solo" and "Rude mute" are other strip parameters you can monitor, for them which track you specify does not matter, but it should exist (so, just use Track 1).

All 2 parameters was introduced specially for the purpose you want. Note, that all 3 are Read Only. You can not select/unmute/unsolo by attempt to modify them, use special Functions for that ("Select strip", "All" "Tracks/Busses" "Unmute/Unsolo").
