Confirmed.
It looks like CW/Plug-in feature/bug. When CS set some new value, sometimes the value is set to something else or does not set at all.
Most probable, the value is the subject to map into the parameter "native" dimension, with the observed result.
Interesting that "after a while" (manipulation with automations), the scale is send to default (high resolution) and everything works as originally expected.
Some (not perfect) workaround is introduced in AZC to deal with the problem. At least the parameter can be controlled now.
It looks like I have found a good solution. Applied since v0.2r6b112.
