Well, TestKnob1 looks good now.

But you are not yet at TestKnob2 (stage 2). Whatever you do anywhere else TestKnob1 (Ch:11 CC:110) controls parameter 2 ("T1 Volume") of the first synth labeled as "Playbeat_A".
It can't control "Playbeat_B" or any other synth, it can't even control the second "Playbeat_A".

To complete the stage 2, you need "reset" the synth names just to "Playbeat" (removing all spaces and '*' for clarity). Then, if you insert several of them, Sonar will call them "Playbeat 1", "Playbeat 2", but it will still report to AZ Controller just "Playbeat". "1" and "2" at the end are instance number, they are not a part of the name!
Once you successfully complete Stage 2, you will really be able to control "Playbeat 1" and "Playbeat 2" (one in a time, switching from the Overview tab).

Stage 3 is defining the button to switch.

I will try to outline our target one more time, and this time I will try to concentrate on essentials  ;)

We need "Rack" Action select correct parameter. It
1) has to find the synth we control, it does that by its current label. You change the label - AZ Controller think that is a different synth. Cakewalk rules I can't change.
2) if the name is the same (as initially set by Cakewalk from the original Synth name or set the same manually) and we have different instances (labels with instance number by Cakewalk, but that doesn't change the name), it can switch instance we control in AZ Controller, as described in TestKnob2
3) it selects the parameter, by number (it display parameter name just for orientation). We can do this directly, as in TestKnob1 and TestKnob2 or "mathematically manipulating" that number, as in TestKnob3+

Once correct parameter is selected, we can change it based on incoming MIDI value. You have already managed to interpret App encoders, but we still have to solve the problem with Arturia. We CAN solve it, simple or more complicated way, AZ Controller can use ANY MIDI incoming signals, even when setting mode to "Encoder" can't do the trick.

Once TestKnob1 is cleared, also for Arturia, depending on your readiness to label synth "compatible" way, we can proceed and stay at TestKnob2 level or we need TestKnob3 approach. The reason is the following: if you want control custom labeled synth (so, not ready to use "compatible" names), you need some easy way to change the name in AZ Controller preset. And that is only possible with TestKnob3 approach (where "Rack" Action may be one in the whole preset, so one place to change the name for all knobs).
