I have a Sonar V-Studio Console (VS-700C) control surface  which has worked flawlessly with the old SONAR and Cakewalk by Bandlab under Windows 7.  But now with the new Sonar, I have to use Windows 10/11 and of course there is no Win 10 driver. I have read that the driver can be tweaked to work on Win 10.  Is there a script or anyone who has knowledge of how to modify the VS-700C driver to use with Windows 10?  I would love to keep the VS-700C if I can!!

You will need to follow http://forum.cakewalk.com/How-to-use-V700-win-8-driver-in-win-10-also-applies-to-some-other-Roland-drivers-m3206046.aspx to install the driver.
The modification can be a tick different for Windows 11, I have not tried to install my VS-20 there. But with some luck it should still work verbatim.

There is NO scripts to do this. That is not driver modification, just convincing Windows the drivers is "compatible" with particular Windows version. The whole problem is that information "I am compatible with..." is signed, so in case it is modified Windows detect "incorrect signature". For that you temporary disable signature checking during installation.

Note the driver itself IS signed and so, once installed, there is no security problems. Windows just have no option "Skip version compatibility check", except telling "It is compatible" and then using the option "Ignore signature check".
