Crossfader to 0,0dB?

(1/1)

cupax:
Hello.
I want to make a crossfader with my Behringer X Touch Mini, which has 1 fader.
In AZSlow, I've created 2 actions for the fader:
- For BUS 1 volume: Value Direct Linear
- For BUS 2 volume: Value Direct Linear Reverse

Now, while this somehow works, the problem is, that in the upper position of the fader, the BUS 2 volume is -INF, while BUS 1 volume is 6,0dB.
Is there a way to limit the maximum amount in the Value, so that the volume would stop on 0,0dB?
Keep in mind, that if you limit it on the hardware level, then the other BUS volume (which is reversed) would not get to -INF.

cupax:
Hmmm...

I've tried to use Groups in Cakewalk with Custom values, making one of them reversed.
It works a little better, so when one fader is -0,0db the other is -INF.
The trouble remains, that I still can continue to move the first volume up to 6,0dB (while the other remains at -INF).

Is there a way in Cakewalk to hard limit the volume of a fader?

Before each "Value Direct" insert "Range" Action with "To" 13050 (other parameters empty). But you can play with other parameters as well.

But there is no "fine tune" REAPER like options for modulation ;)
