REAPER is a modern DAW from Cockos. Commercial software with fully functional demo version.

REAPER accessibility in general is covered by OSARA project.

Important settings in REAPER:
In the REAPER preferences, section "Plug-ins", make sure the following options are set:

• Automatically resize FX window Up and Down.
• Auto-position new floating FX windows.
• Auto-position new FX chain windows.

Functionality:

• Audition fade shapes in item properties in preferences.
• "Enable" check box in FX window is auditioned as such.

  • Following plug-ins have basic overlays with a single control to load presets. Press enter to open preset selection dialog. For Cakewalk instruments press Alt+Enter to load preset.

    • Cakewalk Dimention Pro.
  • Following plug-ins allow categorized preset selection. Navigate between categories with Tab. Choose category/preset by arrows. Load/select by Enter. Note that categories can be filters.
